DIY Glass TileMosaic Tree Wall Art Tutorial. Finally a project I voted for over at One Artsy Mama (the Mod Podge Challenge) won and I’m so glad it was Adrianne at Happy Hour Projects! This is one of those projects that is so cheap to make and requires patience and the right photo, but the final result is worth it. Find the tutorial from Happy Hour Projects here.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough BAKED Brownies Submission!

often when i go home (i go to college out of state) i like to do experimenting. and experimenting always starts with your tumblr. so i decided to make these awesome brownies, partly for the joy of experimenting, and partly to spite all the people who i live with who think that because they’re “dieting”
(i really dislike that word) means they can disrespect my baking artwork (which does not sit well with me, of course). as a result i take my baked goods to my boyfriend’s family’s house where they are alwaysappreciative. anyway, thanks again for a wonderful post! i’ve already got a running list going for more experiments ;) <3

DIY Tree of Life Using Birthstone Beads Tutorial. Generally I don’t really like Tree of Life wire sculptures but have posted them because the tutorials had good wire wrapping tips. But I love this one by Adrienne who made it as a gift to a couple getting married. What makes this one special to me is first of all the wrapped stone, then that Adrienne researched the birthstones of family and friends, and they are all represented in the tree. Tutorial by Happy Hour Projects here.

DIY Constellations In A Jar Tutorial. Really clever using a cheap LED light (links to ones) and one of those cheap foil pans you can get at the Dollar Store. Real constellations (although not accurately placed) are pierced into the foil. Tutorial by Amy of This Heart of Mine for Design Mom here.
